Round ligament pain or lightning crotch?

I had some sharp needle pains in my vagina area. I’ll be 13 weeks tomorrow. How soon can you get round ligament pain and lightning crotch? And what’s the difference? Thanks 🥴

Lightening crotch is more in between your leg and it is a very sharp pain. If you are a first time mom you may not experience it until later on, which is normal. Round ligaments pain is going to be located more at the front of your hips and can feel like a tingling sensation. Right now it is definitely not to early for round ligament pain. I am 13 weeks as well and have been experiencing since I was 8 weeks along. I have had lighting crotch once already. This isn’t my first go around with pregnancies. No

To me lightning crotch kind of feels like getting stung by a bee repeatedly inside the vagina, it’s caused by baby bumping into your cervix and usually happens more in the third trimester when baby is bigger. Round ligament pain feels more like a pulled muscle or when you get a stitch in your side when running or exercising. It’s usually pretty quick but can be sore for a while after. And it’s usually more in the front of your belly by your hips. It’s from the ligaments that hold your uterus in place stretching to accommodate your growing uterus. For me it usually happens when I make a move too quickly or turn/twist too much.

Thanks guys! After y’all explaining round ligament, it definitely doesn’t feel like that. It feels more like lightning crotch. Which is weird to be so early. Oh well. My body is doing all kinds of things right now so I don’t blame it 😂
