Vein in wrist hurts

So the vein in the side of my wrist randomly started aching a few hours ago, it’s also slightly bulging. I’m terrified of blood clots so I’m hoping this is not one. Has anyone ever experienced this before. This is a picture of my wrist right now. It’s kind of hard to see due to the poor lighting in my house but I circled where the vein is.
