Using tampons!!!!

Okay, so. I feel this needs to be said! When I first started using tampons. Idk 7 years ago or so. The directions said to pull on the string to make sure it was secure BEFORE inserting. I always did this, but now the directions dont say it anymore. I still do just to be safe. Last month I tested the string and after 7 years, the string came right off with no pressure!!!! ALWAYS CHECK THE STRING!!!!!!!!!
