Birth control question..(USA)

We are 2 and done. Without going into medical details, my husband will be getting a vasectomy and with our doctors recommendations this will be done spring 2023. In the meantime, I am going on the mini pill (IC Camila .35 MG). Our daughter is 7 weeks old and breastfed.

This pill took 5 days to come into CVS. This makes me nervous. Is this another result of shortages? I asked the pharmacist and they got defensive. I just don’t want to mess up if it doesn’t come in time next refill.

Should I be doing a mail away refill? Through cvs too? Any recommendations? I have tufts Cigna out of California (live in Massachusetts).
