Permanent birthcontrol

So prior to me getting pregnant we were pretty set on my husband getting a vasectomy once I was healed from birth. Well one thing and another it looks like I'm going to have to have a csection which has opened up the easy oppertunity to just have my tubes tied.

But now even though I feel like we are done and he feels like we are done for many many reasons we are finding it somewhat hard to officially pull the plug on the child bearing years. I guess the reason partially being that were werent going to do the vasectomy until our baby was a month or two old so we had more time to really think on it but now if we choose to do my tubes we have to decide basically now. I'm 35w.

Did anyone else get cold feet when it finally came down to having permanent measures taken???
