How do I find closure?

I am currently going through a miscarriage. It was confirmed a few days ago. I lost him at 5 weeks and 1 day. I don’t know how to over come this. I feel so heart broken that I will never meet my baby. That I will never know if he would be stubborn like me or a rule breaker like his father. We have been praying for this and now my heart is in pieces. I know we will get our rainbow one day but I’m shattered

6 weeks ago I had a miscarriage at just over 6 weeks. I was completely distraught. I couldn’t bring myself to eat for 2 whole weeks and lost over a stone in that time. I was completely shutting down and shutting myself off from everything and anyone. I didn’t tell my family at first but after two weeks of going through hell on my own (literally on my own as my husband was away working) I told my family and it made everything so much better. I asked my manager for a week off work to heal 2 weeks after I lost my baby (I only work two days a week as I have a young child already) and after those two days off I felt amazing. I just needed some time to heal and have time to think and process. I really think being on here reading other peoples messages helped a lot. It made me realise its not just me going through this pain. It was a really long, weird and hard grieving process. I also think I didn’t really realise I was grieving at first and when I did I knew it was ok to be so upset and I need to go through the motions that go along with grieving. I only knew I was pregnant for 8 days before I started bleeding but in those 8 days I was imagining how my life was going to be with a little baby. I was thinking about my daughter was going to be a sister. I was thinking of all these amazing things that were going happen then suddenly it’s all taken away. I never got to feel my baby move or watch my baby grow inside of me but it doesn’t mean I didnt and still don’t love that baby to the end of the earth. I still think about how far along I would be now and think how big I would be and how excited it would have been to tell everyone I was having baby. I think just taking time to process and heal is the best thing. You are grieving for a child and that’s a really hard thing to deal with. It takes time and you will get through.

I’m so sorry😢💔 I had a loss in January so I totally understand. I’ve went through so many stages of grief. I wouldn’t say it’s easier now; in fact, it got much worse before it got any better. But I decided recently I’m going to force myself to try to be positive bc it’s all I can do. Fake it till I make it, I guess. Wishing you all the healing and love💗
