Possible start to losing mucus plug @36 weeks?

TMI, I know, but honestly this is an app to also help pregnant women. I had to Pull to get it out. I really hope this isn’t a start to losing my mucus plug bc my doctor does NOT want me having this baby any earlier than 39 weeks bc it will need surgery right after birth and even SLIGHTLY premature could be a hiccup. But, what do y’all think..? I should also mention that I have been slightly cramping all day.

I appreciate all comments! With my son I lost my mucus plug 3 days before my water broke, and it broke hours after my bloody show. I was just nervous about it, but I haven’t had any more come out since then so I’m hoping it was a fluke type of thing 😅

Yeah it looks like it could be but your mucus plug regenerates so this isn’t a sign that labour is coming any time soon.

It looks like your mucus plug, but also losing it doesn't indicate immediate labor. I lost pieces of mine at 35 weeks with my first and lost all of it minus my bloody show at 39 weeks and nothing happened. I was induced at 40 weeks 1 day

It could be your mucus plug or just discharge! Women can lose their mucus plug days before labor or even weeks before. I would definitely just keep an eye on if there’s more cause it could just be discharge but I have read if you think you’re losing it before 37 weeks then to call your doctor and make sure all is well! I hope you and baby have a good rest of pregnancy and a safe delivery💗
