Miscarriage advice pregnancy tests

Ok so I have pco’s and found out I was pregnant with baby number two around two weeks ago, my first pregnancy was so straight forward so I went for an early scan thinking I was around 7 weeks & I got to my scan and they told me they think I ovulated later and am only 5 weeks or less as they can only see a sac with nothing inside as much as it worried me they reassured me that it was perfectly normal at my early stage but since then I have started bleeding bright red red with really mild cramps and of course I know deep down that this is going to be a miscarriage unfortunately but I’ve done some more pregnancy tests and they have progressed so much that they have taken the dye out of the control line, I’m having a scan and test on Tuesday to determine what’s happend but is it possible to have a miscarriage with tests still progressing? 😒 feeling devastated
