Will I make it to induction?

So I am 38w2d. I had a sweep done on Thursday at my appointment (baby is measuring large). I was 2.5cm and 60%. I had some contractions after and consistent cramping since. This morning I lost my plug/had a slight bloody show. I’m scheduled for induction on Friday AM. Will I make it to induction?? I had decided I give up and will but now I’m not sure…

I could’ve written this! Haha. Lost a huge chunk of bloody show Thursday 6/23. At my appt Monday 6/27, I was 2-3cm & 60%. He did a sweep. Consistent contractions all day M&T. Tuesday night lost another huge chunk of pink bloody mucus. It’s now Saturday 7/2 and I’m still very much pregnant lol. So unfortunately none of it meant anything for me or worked!

I am being induced Friday morning for the same reason baby measuring big I have had two sweeps and nothing!! I hope it all comes naturally for you beforehand!!! X

Sweeps are only considered successful if you end up in labour within 48 hours.
They can make you lose your plug, but that doesn’t always mean you’ll go into labour.
I’ve lost my plug after a sweep with both kids but no labour. 💔
