❤️What are you feeding your 8 month old ?

Question

My baby girl wants to eat everything I’m eating, she has 2 teeth but I’m so scared of her chocking. She eats little snacks that dissolves but I know she need to eat food. What should I start out with ?

My daughter is 8 months old and I give her everything I eat.
Today she had salmon, which is really soft, I just took out the bones. She also had boiled vegetables 
We had nachos yesterday, I didn't give her te corn chips because they were sharp, but she ate the meat, cheese and veggies
We had spaghetti with spaghetti squash, I just gave her some and she ate it with her hands lol
When we have steak or roasts I slice it up small so she won't choke, but she chews it up first before swallowing. She doesn't have any teeth yet
I slice Bananas in quarters lengthwise for her to eat
I boil apples and either puree them for squeeze pouches, or quarter them and she eats them like that
Start small, but you would be surprised by how well babies do with food

With my first I pureed everything, and never added any seasonings. Now I have a lot of trouble getting her to eat, especially meat, i think its a texture thing because she never had it when she was younger. I don't have any issues getting my baby to eat, she loves everything.

I'm a fan of sweet potatoes and you can either puree them and add other veggies or fruits to it or cute them in thick fry shapes for baby led weening. They're filling, healthy and semi sweet so baby likes them. If I puree I'll add coconut oil to give a little more healthy fat.

Solid starts does have a website and you can look at some stuff online there. I would start with mashed avocado or avocado slices. Solid starts also has an app that will show you the size of the food you should serve based on age. Very helpful !

He eats whatever he wants. None of my babies have gotten teeth before a year old and they were eating full meals by then.

She eats a little of everything I do. 😁 Baby led weaning. They have a really strong gag reflex and will surprisingly spit out most things that they could choke on without any help. Its a little nerve wracking at first, but its part of the learning process.
I suggest starting with meat. Specifically fatty red meat for the iron and fat for the brain.
