Early labour experiences

I'm 36 weeks and ended up going into the hospital at 3am because my contractions were getting closer together. Since I had my cerclage removed, I was already 2cm dialated and the contractions were about 3 mins apart and fairly intense for a couple hours but then they peetered out with no change to my cervix. They said I was in early labour and that there was a good chance I would be back later today but so far I haven't had many contractions.

I am excited to meet my daughter/get this show on the road and reduce the uncertainty but at the same time I hope she can make it to 37 weeks.

Just wondering what your experiences were with early labour?
