Mother in Law telling me to cut my waist long hair.

So, my in laws are someway old fashioned. Thank god my husband hasn't took after them and let's me dress and do anything the way I want. Well i have been growing my hair and has took me almost 3 years to grow it just down under my waist. My husband, ABSOLUTELY loves my hair and doesn't want me to shorten it. Mind you I do need a trim off the ends, but just enough to shorten it up to my waist. My mother in law thinks that I need to cut and shorten it as we have 2 toddlers. And long hair 'isn't good for me or my health'. I'm a hair dresser and never heard anything like this.. I don't want to shorten my hair neither does my husband. I absolutely LOVE my long hair 😍

But now I feel some type of way. When I told my husband he got pissed and told me not to cut my hair ❤ is long hair not suitable for a 24 year old with 2 kids?
