Clomid, questioning doctors protocol?

Starting clomid 50mg this cycle (dx is unexplained infertility, I ovulate and hormones are good, swimmers also good) my doctor instructed day 1-5 but I’m seeing more success stories from women in my same situation who were instructed days 2-6 or 3-7. I trust my doc but he just gave me a basic run down and sent me on the way, so I’ve fallen down the google rabbit hole. Any advice?
