Any idea?
I am 34yrs old, ttc for 7+ years. My husb is 39yrs old.
I have pcos for 15+ years.
Its become very severe as of now.
I haven't ovulated by myself in years.
Recently we found out that my husb is diabetic and have low sperm motility and morphology.
We went to an infertility specialist and decided to do an IUI for the first time.
My periods was induced with progesterone and had my cycle day 1 on july 2nd.
My doctor prescribed me Metformin 1000mg/day
Letrozole 5mg for 10 days starting from cycle day 6.
And hMG injections on Cycle day 6, 10 and 13.
I got the last injection on july 14th and my next appointment for review is on july 16th.
They are not doing any blood tests or scanning in between.
I am confused since this is my first IUI and i thought i would be monitored more frequently.
On cycle day 11, 12 and 13 i had spotting along with
lower abdominal cramps . It was red in colour on cycle day 12 and now i am on cycle day 14 and the cervical mucus is completely dried up.
I am honestly concerned that i had already ovulated and we won't be able to do IUI this cycle.
If they tell us to proceed with the iui on tomorrow's visit, should i trust them?
I don't know, i was expecting some more monitoring.
Anyone had a similar experience or any opinion regarding this.
I am very stressed out now. Please help.
