What to wear to ultrasound?

I’ve got my first ultrasound tomorrow and in the UK it’s going to be 38degrees + ( which is very very hot for us 😂 ) 
I’ve never had an ultrasound during summer months, ideally I would be wearing a dress tomorrow but would they mind if I had to life it up for them to scan my belly? They’d give me a blanket or something to put over my bottom half for privacy right? 
Either that or I can wear shorts but all the shorts I have at the moment are so tight from when I’m bloated 
Any advice will be great 😂 I’m at work all day today from 7 till 9pm otherwise I’d go through my wardrobe and see what it would work best myself

the one time I forget and wore a dress I felt awkward I wouldn't recommend it even though I was given a towel to put over

I live in sundresses as I am in a hot climate. The tech will drape you with a sheet or disposable cloth so you don’t feel exposed when you pull up your dress.  they may put a towel or tuck the sheet over the top of your your undies just to prevent the ultrasound gel from getting on them, but you don’t have to take off your underwear unless you are getting a transvaginal ultrasound. Most of the time you can really wear whatever you want. They always drape you for modesty and comfort :)

You don't need to take underwear off.
I always have went to my appointments with dresses, winter I have tights underneath summer just undies.
It is easier for me to have a lift up a dress instead of undressing with other things 😂

When I wear a dress to my appointments they give me a little cloth thing to put over my bottom half when they lift my dress up, though it’s not like these doctors don’t look at vaginas for a living. They aren’t phased by anything truly

With a transvaginal you will remove everything from the waste down and get a drape so a dress would make you completely naked unless you hike it up lol My ultrasound place said not to wear a dress because with pants or shorts you just unzip and pull them down a little below your pubic bone. They tuck a little towel into the top of your shorts to keep them from getting the lube on them.
