Am I overthinking??

Okay so me and this dude have been talking for a while nowww. We met online and we both liked each other and met irl after talking for like 2 months. When we met we did the deed and after he asked me out and of course I said yes!! But now everytime we meet up we kinda just do the deed a lot and then chill he’s never really taken me on a date. And I love spending time with him and we have good conversations over the phone but how do I know he wants me for the right reasons and how do I explain to him that I want more for him without being harsh? Or is this normal in relationships??

It doesn’t have to be harsh when you explain to him what you need. I don’t think you’re over thinking either. I think you need certain things in a relationship to feel good about it and that’s OK. So think about what you need from him… For example, spending more quality time together not in bed, more dates, etc... Then I would have a conversation with him about where this relationship is going. Are you exclusive? Is this just a sex thing, or does he want a real relationship with you? If so, that’s great. Then explain to him that in relationships you need to feel like he is interested in you and that you’re cared for and these are the things you need to feel that… you would like to have more dates, more quality time not in bed, etc.… And see if he’s willing to do that for you.
