How long after getting married did you start trying to have a baby and how long after did you? My husband and I (21F&23M) got engaged and married after a year and 2 months of dating and I want to start trying about 1-2 years after getting married because I have PCOS but wondering if that seems too soon? Should we do 2-4 years instead?

I got pregnant with a honeymoon baby and we're both over the moon about it so I'd say whatever timing you both agree on. There's no right or wrong time if you feel ready.

Everyone’s different. I’ve been married less than a year we’ve been together almost 4 years and we’re trying now. Next month I’ll be 30 and I have no kids yet. You’re really young don’t rush it!

Totally up to you! We got married at 23, and started trying at 26. We are now in our 30s with 2 kids we adopted because we were unable to have biological children. No regrets though.

Only you two can know when you are ready. And when is the right time for you. We could not tell you that. I have PCOS and it took me over 10 years of trying before getting pregnant successfully. At 10 years I got pregnant several times but all ended in miscarriages. First successful pregnancy was not until I had been trying for 12 years. All women are different. All bodies are different. And only you can know when you are ready. I was ready at 22 but it never happened for me until I was 33. And I was glad it happened when it did. I was always frustrated but when it all happened in my 30s, I was thrilled. It allowed me to spend my 20s traveling, securing my career and saving up for a home and land. Things do not always happen when we plan them or want them to happen. It happens when it is meant to happen. Best of luck to you both! And congratulations on your marriage! ❤️
