We didn't circumcise our son when he was born. I did a lot of research and decided that, aside from cultural preference, there is no medical reason to circumcise. At the end of the day, me and my husband didn't feel comfortable altering our son for cosmetic purposes. It's his body, not ours.

I WILL be doing this. Two thumbs up for hygiene, and comfortability, in his life 👏

The possiblity of health risks and it not being medically necessary arguments can go back and forth all day. Bottom line I did what my SO had. I wouldn't want my son to wonder why his was different. I say if dad isn't circumcised and has no issues don't do it. If dad is circumcised then do it.

Personal choice for me. I have been with men who are uncircumcised and they are never as clean as those who are. Plus they had a lot of issues with infections like utis. Because of this, my boy will be circumcised.

We are not having a boy, but my stepson is not. If taught to care for it properly, he won't get infections.

I first hand saw the infections an uncircumcised penis will threw.. I personally don't want that to happen to my son.. My daughters father never got clipped at age 26 he had to be clipped because he got moisture around the head of the penis and shaft and no matter what we did the infection came back sex was painful.. After he was clipped it was much better no redness no pain for him.. I say do your son a favor and not screw him down the road just snip snip.. Me and my fiancé now have said yes to it! I didn't like seeing the ex in pain I don't wanna see my son in the same pain.. Too each there own its your child but it's not a fun process as we get older.
