MVP testing

Has anyone had to have weekly mvp testing done? My maternal fetal medicine doctor has ordered me to get nst tests 2 times a week starting at 32 weeks ( Saturday I’ll be 32 weeks) , and a weekly mvp test . Everything I looked up shows it’s to monitor amniotic fluid but mine was normal . Waiting to hear back from her or I’ll ask my OB Friday when I go in. Just curious if others had this happen. I’m high risk due to being on blood thinners this time.
