In need of help

I know I’ve already made a post about it but I’m still over thinking the cause… I had a spotting for 2 days that would have brown stringy substance on a tampon but when I wiped it was a light pink. I did some googling on it it said implantation bleeding… I had yk only like 4 days before that but we was safe and as far as we know he didn’t release anything on me… I was taking birth control but it was every other day bc I would forget because I was on vacation so I took 2 about every other day and my period is in a week but I don’t know if it’s going to come now because the spotting it anyone could please help that would be great to ease my mind down
