Brazilian wax a few days before induction?

Is it an awful idea to get a Brazilian wax right before delivering? Part of me wants to just to feel cleaner etc afterwards.. but also can’t even imagine how swollen my lady bits are and I have hemmroids so don’t want to terrify my waxer or make anything more sensitive 🥴

I have been getting Brazilians for years and never found them painful. Got one in my third trimester and literally couldn’t let them finish because it was unbearable.
I actually asked my midwife about waxing/shaving before birth and she said they’d rather I didn’t because tiny cuts and open follicles are more susceptible to infection. She recommended trimming if I wanted to but said having hair wouldn’t affect stitching or anything if it was needed.

My bestie did it before both of her sons were born. Less she had to worry about after they were born and no itchy stubble. I have one on a regular basis and plan to have it done before my little one is due for arrival. They can go around the hemorrhoids or just skip the crack all together. I can’t imagine the things those waxers have seen. I doubt a hemorrhoid is the worst. 😂

I’m getting one at 36+5 and that will be my last. I’m being induced at 39 weeks. Not sure what day but I figured about 3 weeks give or take would be plenty of time in between so heal up.

Do it a longer than 3 days before!! I’d say a week! You’ll still be good. If you can, go a few times before too. Because each time you go, the hair gets less and less! I’m planning on doing mine a week before my scheduled c section. I go every 4-5 weeks ish!

I personally would say avoid a brazilian and get a close trim down there if they can or just get waxxed till the bikini line. If you're very used to getting brazilian and they dont hurt much for you, then maybe yeah :) im personally terrified!

Personally I'd wait til you're all healed up before getting a wax. Im a mess down there right now too, I can't see the disaster due to my large belly so I wouldn't want to subject anyone to that 😂😂 but seriously I'd wait if for no inherent reason than to reduce your chances of infection.
