Can you ovulate late late ?

I was wondering can you possibly get pregnant or ovulate later in the cycle like 4 days before predicted period ?

Answer

Periods are based off ovulation. Periods usually come roughly 2 weeks after ovulation, regardless when ovulation comes. So the later you ovulate the later your cycle will be. You can only get pregnant during your ovulation window. Once an egg is released, if it is not fertilized then chances of pregnancy are gone for that cycle. So you wouldn’t ovulate 4 days before a period, the period wouldn’t arrive for 2 weeks after when ever you ovulate.
