13 months pp - no period

Hi mamas!!

So my girl is 13 months and still breastfeeding. I haven’t gotten a period at birth. Had unprotected sex last Saturday. Woke up this morning to spotting just one speck of light pink on the toilet paper first pee, and then it was a significant amount the second pee causing me to think my period was starting! And now, it’s nothing. Dryer than a desert. But this is the first time I’ve had any bleeding after birth.

We aren’t trying, as I’m starting work again come September.

I took a test yesterday and clear as day BFN - I know it’s to early. My self control is non-existent 🙄

With my first I got my period back right away. So this is all new to me. Been having a bit of pelvic pain/discomfort but nothing crazy.

What are you periods like after birth? Normal? Or what? I’m confused hahah
