Natural birth of baby boy at 37 weeks 2 days

July 22,2022 @ 7:41 pm , I gave birth to my little boy Wynn. I started having contractions at 7 am , they were 3 minutes apart and 1 minute long, I was going into my 37 week apt at 10 am so I didn’t stress it. Fast forward the doctor checks my cervix & im 4 cm dilated, “oh yeah , you’re having a baby today”. After taking my firstborn to his grandmothers I went up to labor and delivery. I elected to have an all natural unmedicated birth as I did with my first. This time around was much more difficult but just as special. there is no pain that could possibly compare however Mental strength is what got me through , being able to control my mind , to tell myself this is temporary pain , that it will be over soon and had been all worth it. I look at myself in amazement , at my baby with so much love and awe. Nothing about motherhood is easy but it is so rewarding. I became a mother at the age of 17 , I’m now 19 with an almost 2 year old and a newborn and I could not be more proud of myself and my husband. We have struggled and overcome together , worked on our minds, emotions & trauma. We parent mindfully & work towards giving our kids the best life. Ever since a little girl , I knew all I wanted was to love and be loved & I now have that in abundance. I’m fulfilled & look forward to the future.

Haakaa gen 2 : so simple to use , just squeeze put on nipple and out comes milk. I prefer gen 2 over the newer ones bc I don’t have to fold inside out, can adjust the suction so it doesn’t feel like my blood vessels are gonna burst .

Feels like heaven , I use it every feed on the boob with haakaa , makes nighttime feedings easier bc I’m more alert due to the bliss of massaging my boob . Also helps get a ton of milk out. I’m 6 days pp , exclusively breastfeeding , started using haakaa/massager at 4 days pp & already have so much milk saved.
