Stitches

I expected to have multiple stitches closing my stomach up, instead I had just one really long stitch running the length of my incision. There were no knots and just the 2 tails were showing. Everything was sewn internally and it’s the cleanest scar I’ve ever seen! My last one was a hack job but they cleaned my skin up and tightened everything up beautifully! I’ve just never seen a stitch job done like this? Has anyone else had similar? I honestly don’t even know how they would have done this. Having it removed was not pleasant - I felt it snake the whole way across my abdomen 😵‍💫
