How do you Americans sleep at night?

I was born in the uk and always lived here, where im from is the outskirts of London.

We actually have a real shitty crackhead town where people mug the system. People are crackheads/dealers etc. (no offence but it's the truth).

A lot of youth gangs around local shops you know what I mean 😂

BUTTTTT...

I've always watched documentaries about murders and things like that from America and how they have gun licenses 🫣

I actually have a panic attack thinking about going to America, like how do you guys sleep at night?? Knowing people own guns and the rate of innocent attacks have gone up majorly! School shootings etc omg. Like how?????????

In the uk we get stabbings, robbery's, drug smuggles etc but I can honestly sleep at night knowing access to guns isnt available.

Sorry but I actually always wanted to go america, every kid does (Florida) Disney world. Now I have two kids. But yeah I don't think I can handle the anxiety I honestly feel sorry for you Americans and others in similar situations :(
