Hi all! I’m currently pregnant with #5. I’m considering a homebirth since my provider is no longer in the states and my insurance doesn’t cover any midwives or birthing centers locally. I’m confident in birthing on my own since #2-4 I just had my midwife standing by not intervening. And I’m knowledgeable on birthwork to know what to do and how to manage my own pain But as far as prenatal care I’m kind of nervous, I’m a carrier for SLO but the chances of our babies having it are very minimal. With my midwife I’ve always done just the genetic testing and anatomy scan and Chiro . So I’d like to have blood work done just to be on the safe side and an ultrasound. I’m wondering if anyone has gotten some type of prenatal care and then went along with a homebirth? And If so how did you go about it .
