Pitocin in after water breaking?

My water broke this morning and I’m currently in the hospital! My contractions are mild and 5 mins apart. Baby’s doing well. For those of you whose water broke first, how long did you wait before getting pitocin or if no pitocin, how long before you started pushing?

I was only at 2 cm when my water broke with my first and my contractions were very inconsistent so I went ahead and got pitocin started. Baby was born 5ish hours later. I did not get an epidural and opted for iv pain meds instead. Water broke about 12ish in the morning. Got checked in and in a room with pitocin started about 1ish in the morning. She was born before 7am.

A couple hours. Water was broken at my apt. Didn’t know. I was not even a finger tip. By time I got to my room and settled I was a three. Started pitocin after that.

My water broke at like 5:30 in the morning and then I didn’t actually push and deliver baby until 4:30 that evening. No pitocin it felt like my body was under a lot of stress and I didn’t progress very fast until I got my epidural and then everything went very fast and three pushes and baby was out.

Pitocin after 18 hrs, I waited as long as humanly possibly and tried pumping and squats to get contractions going but they never stuck. My body was super responsive to pitocin and had baby 5.5 hrs later. Started at 2 then 4 then 6 (every hr they bumped pitocin) then they dialed back down to 4 when they realized I was about to have the baby and THEY were unprepared hah.

I had my water broken by my Dr as I was leaking amniotic fluid. I was at 2 cm dilated when this happened. 3 hrs later I had the urge to push,  nurse checked me and I was at 10cm. 1 hr of pushing later and baby was born. Only was given gas to try and stop me from pushing because the Dr had left the hospital and needed to rush back.

My water broke and I was dilated 0cm! No pitocin, took a shower and let water stimulate nipples after a couple hours of only mild contractions. That worked and 12 hours after my water had broken I started pushing!

No pit given. Water broke at 4:46am and baby came out at 8:22am. This is also my 4th labor and delivery but 3rd living child. My body labors quickly after water breaks.

I’m usually a 5 when I go in and get stuck around 6ish then they give pitocin to help things progress but that’s just me 🤷🏽‍♀️
