Breastfeeding moms - help me out with feeding a newborn 😅

Hi there!

So I'm on day 4 with my second child and seriously wondering if it's worth the trouble at this point 🙈

My first journey was different and Short

lived due to lack of milk.

Well, doesn't seem to be an issue this time. We struggle to get her to take the breast, but when she does she eats fine. However the struggles of getting her to latch has resulted in some pretty broken nipples. I found shields now that helps me, but annoys her.

When we get her to latch she'll be on for like 12-15 minutes. Since my milk has come in, I assume that's a fine amount of time, right? However my breast feel even more full afterwards. It is seriously painful and I've had to hand express two times today already. Is this normal when the milk has just come in? It's been 24 hours soon since my milk came and last time it was full but never this painful after the milk came in.

Will it settle over a day or two or??
