What meaningful names did you give your babies??❤️

What is the meaning behind the baby name you chose? I’m looking for inspiration & love hearing how names were chosen!! For example did you name them after a loved one, a favorite book, etc.

My sons name is Gulliver, the meaning behind his name means, One who has been on a long journey.
Which resonated with me as it took me attempts at IVF after being diagnosed with PCOs at a young age and told I’d never conceive naturally.
I went through IVF and it didn’t work. I gave up having children and fell pregnant naturally.
It was a difficult pregnancy and resulted in my son being born 3months early and had to spend 3months in the NICU.
I love his name, it’s unique and I rarely share his name on any social media platforms etc. I love that it’s unique, never met another Gulliver.

My daughter's name is Anais Joy Lynn. Anais means grace/He (God) was gracious/showed favor in Hebrew. It also can mean merciful. Joy is my middle name, my mom's middle name, my grandmas maiden name, and my great grandmas last name. Lynn is my husband's mother's middle name. 
I was told I couldn't have children and it's a long story, but, not only did my husband and I conceive, but I had a corpus lutem cyst on my left ovary which i was told indicates that is the ovary her egg came from. My left ovary was supposed to be not working, because when I was a teen it had a large cyst that twisted the ovary around. There was no blood supply for an unknown amount of time and by the time I had surgery they said I was a few hours from losing the entire ovary had I not had surgery right then. 
We feel she is our miracle baby so we felt it was only fitting to name her after the grace and mercy we were shown in her conception. 🥰

Our rainbow baby is Felix Leroy. Felix means happy/lucky, which are our wishes for him. Leroy was both mine and my SO’s grandfather’s middle name

I'm naming my daughter Charlie after my dad who passed in February, he was Charles and his birthday was December 1st, baby girl is due December 11th 💚

Our son is named Kyler after my brother Kyle who passed away in 2013. I had liked the name before that, but after he passed away, I knew it was the name I would use for my first son. Depending where you look, the name can also mean land of cattle. We liked that too because my family is mostly cowboys, and I grew up on farms, feedlots, and ranches.

My first is Leo! He’s named after a Mumford and sons song that meant a lot to me during my middle/high school years. 
My second is Violet, her dad picked her name out, she’s our little flower. 
Lol both names have gained popularity, but have meaning to us and are special 💜

I chose my girl's name because I wanted the first letters to be the same as my brother's name to honour him... Then selected a particular name starting with those letters from the language of a country where my fiance and his family has spent a lot of time together (I've never been) so that it would have significance for both our families but for different reasons.. :)

We have Amelia Roselyn. We call her Rosie as we didn’t realize how popular her name was, but Amelia has been my favorite name since I was a child. Rose is a family name on my husbands side and lyn is a family name on my side. 
We have a Liam Arthur. He is named after my husband.
Our third is named after my dad and my husbands dad. Scott Bradley

Our middle name are the ultra meaningful ones.
My oldest shares his middle with his paternal grandma.
My daughter’s middle is the girl name her paternal grandma never got to use. (She had 4 boys and several miscarried girls).
Number 3 is on the way and we don’t know gender. The middle will either be my dad’s middle, or my middle name which was my great-grandma’s first name.

My kids, plus the one on the way, have family middle names and than first names we just liked that matched well. Our first is a boy and his middle name is Christopher, after my father who died in 2016. Our second is a girl and hers is Paige after my SIL middle name so they match. Third we aren’t finding out gender so we only have a boys middle name picked so far and that will be William after my husbands 12 year old cousin that died of cancer.
