Can Junior be used as a name?

Baby boy is coming soon. And I have always loved the name Junior except, he won’t be a Jr.!!
Can that name be used as a first or middle name? We’re thinking about naming him Axel Junior or Junior Axel.
Also, opinions on his name? Or other names that go with Axel or Junior.
IDK…., we’re confused 🥴🥴

There’s a little boy across the street who’s middle name is June and I think that’s pretty cool. He was named after a great uncle June.

I know a guy named Junior. Well he was actually my dad's friend so he's likely almost 50 by now. Not a Jr or anything. Just his parents liked the name.
