Vitiamin D?

Question

38+1 today. Hoping to get the ball rolling sometime soon so over it 😂. 
Getting some last minute things together incase, looking to breastfeed full time this time around as my first had trouble latching, do you need to use vitiman D drops? Never thought about it before but was reading some stuff so was curious of what other moms did/do? 
Will double check with drs etc but

I never did for my daughter, it was never recommended by her pediatrician and I didn’t hear about it until she was older and off breastmilk.

I exclusively BF my daughter and used the D drops that you only have to put on little drop on your nipple before they latch. The doc says every day but I’d say I probably remembered 4ish days/week!

In my personal experience. I would......I EBF my son and I didn't use the drops and he had "breastmilk jaundice" and he was completely yellow and had to be hospitalized with the lights and all. When we left they told us to use the drops because his body wasn't breaking down the bilirubin the way it needed to. We kept him by the backdoor for sunlight during the day and gave him the drops. It made a huge difference. So this time around when I have this baby I'm just going to give her the drops just in case.
