Saving and been waiting

My boyfriend and I have been together 8 years almost 9 in October… we have two kids and one on the way. Well like I said BOYFRIEND. at a family gathering recently I was corned by his aunts and mothers about when he would make it permanent, or if I was just a baby maker. It was awkward and uncomfortable. I told him that and he said we’ve been together long enough we basically are. Well he is saving a couple grand for next summer to be able to skydive on his own. He’s taking a course that requires him to jump 25 plus times. Great for him right? But I’m over here thinking okay he’s serious about this but why in the hell am I not worth saving for? This is really striking a nerve. Bad. YES we have talked about it. Numerous times. And we will talk about our future house, future this and that. We have gone thru SO much together, been together since we were 19!

EDIT: FYI. We have saved. ALOT. We bought and sold a house. We now have a house that is provided to us for FREE due to a job that MY dad set him up with. We were both raised old schoolish. A man provides and the women nurtures. I’ve been a stay at home mom for 4 years now, because that is what we both agreed on. I play the wife role down to the button that needs to be sewed back on needless to say. Lol.
