Pregnancy after weight loss surgery ?

Heeey- so i had gastric last july, its hard to eat like a normal person and suffer with super heartburn . But my main concern is that does the food go to the baby? I mean my sis in law had weight loss surgery but a different from mine i don’t remember what its called but its a bigger surgery than sleeves. Her first born was under weight, apparently the food and oral meds dont go to the baby she must use iv to nourish the baby. But they told me her procedure is diff and its fine with sleeves gastric so just wanted to know if anyone else is worrying ?
