i work at T. J. maxx and people are always surprised with the prices! i put a morphe foundation in the shade F4.80 and it was marked down to .$0.60!!!

T.J. maxx is a great store if you like to bargain. NEVER say the word discount at checkout . instead ask, “do you think you can take 10% off of this item?”

reasons u can ask for a discount,

•opened packaging

•tampered (even if it’s just one eyeshadow)

•if the item straight up has no box

•rips or holes in clothing

•or if the item was a return

and 9/10 they will do it for u.

•damaged item

here is what we WONT take 10% off for:

-a stain on a shirt. they will tell u to bring it home and wash it and if the stain doesn’t come out you can return it and purchase it again for a lower price

-a shirt that was found in clearance but has no price tag (it will be sold at its original price unless you are able to find a similar shirt)

-shirts with one or two loose threads that you can easily cut off

-shoes with dirty bottoms

AND THE PART EVERYONE HATES…. THAT DAMN CREDIT CARD!!!!

look, i know. whenever a store offers you a credit card your eyes roll. but with the TJX card it’s basically free money. let’s say your total comes to $389.34. if approved you’d save $39 big whoop i know. but in august and august only, each dollar u spend = 5 points when usually it’s 1. that means u will get a $20 gift certificate in the mail for that purchase alone!

a lot of people don’t know this but even if u know you won’t get approved for the card, it’s still very generous if you apply as that is what funds the store. people don’t understand that u can instantly pay off your card by downloading the app and linking ur debit card so u can pay 20 mins later. the point of the card is the coupons you get, so with the instant pay feature it is like free money. we don’t work off compensation and there’s no yearly fee.

so yeah there’s like tons more secrets but i’m off my break now!!! love u girlys
