Bottle in the dishwasher or by hands?

My baby is five month old now and I’m still washing her bottle myself and sterilize them. Can’t get to decide to put them in the dishwasher even if I’m too tired I stay up and do it. How everyone is doing theirs?

I never had enough bottles to throw them in the dishwasher most often but when I did I put the glass ones in the dishwasher and washed the plastic ones. I never sterilized except right out of the package. The bottles are no longer sterile once they come out of the dishwasher or sterilizer so I didn't see the point. None of the sterilizers I found dried the bottles well anyways

Interesting because I saw this same question a couple of weeks ago and everyone responded that theres no need to sterilize once baby isnt a newborn, then I see here everyone saying to sterilize lol. Maybe it's a UK/US thing? I stopped sterilizing once baby was like 2 months old except periodically like once every couple of weeks.

Dishwasher 110% I do have a sterilizer but we do not use it much. A lot of people I know actually count the dishwasher as sanitizing.

I only put glass bottles in the dishwasher. Heated plastics can break down and leach endocrine disrupting chemicals into the milk (even if it's bpa free). For that reason I also only sterilize plastic parts before the first use, then just hand wash after that.

I always did them in the dishwasher, sometimes by themselves on the top rack because I would prep pumped bottles the night before and have several to Wash at the end of the day. Things feel much cleaner to me in the dishwasher. My hands can’t handle the heat the dishwasher can.

Hand wash and sterilise. My dishwasher has a setting for baby bottles and utensils but I won't be using it anytime soon till hes on solids and I have enough to fill the dishwasher,  because it seems like a waste of water and electricity to me
