Don’t know if this is the right group to ask but I recently had weight loss surgery to help me conceive and have lost over 100 pounds. Per the doctors orders I have to be on the IUD for 1 year post op before trying. I am 10 months post op and have been getting my period very regularly except for this month. I am a week late. I had bad cramping and light spotting once when I wiped a few days ago so I thought it was going to start but nothing. Now I have no symptoms. Has anyone on here missed their period while on the IUD, is that common? Has anyone gotten pregnant while on the IUD? I know rapid weight loss makes you very fertile and after 2 years of negative tests it makes me not want to test and feel the disappointment again.
