Currently almost 35 weeks & having some preterm labor signs. 
Do babies born at 35 weeks usually need NICU time?

I’ve delivered at two hospitals and both had a 36 week nicu cutoff.  So anything before 36 weeks was a mandatory ticket to the nicu (even 35+6). Both my babies were born at 36 weeks exactly and my 5lb baby did not need nicu time, but my 7lb baby stayed for a week.

I delivered my baby at 32 weeks she had 2 steroid shots at 28 weeks and 30 due to bleeding several times with placenta previa she was 4lbs 10ozs and stayed in hospital for 11 days breathing on her own she only needed to learn to feed. All babies are different

Depends on baby.
My 36 weeker didn’t go to the NICU but we had constant blood sugar tests done.
