He’s 3 months this Sunday. I need help/advice. He’s breastfed but seems so constipated. He pushes so hard it doesn’t allow him to eat properly. Idk if his cluster feeding is the cause or what but gas drops and gripe water do not help. Any advice??

This sounds weird but my baby had a hard time pooping/ getting gas out on his own and we tried this and it works magic. His dr said it's fine too ( she said at this young age they are still learning how to push and sometimes they unintentionally clench and stop the pushing from happening). Take a wipe and wipe their bum, gently put some pressure when wiping over their butt hole. It helps them release so much gas and poop. Fair warning though it usually shoots everywhere so be careful!

My daughter had same problem so I gave her an oz of prune juice before her bottle (she was also on vitamin d drops and those usually made her poop) and after a few feedings I had two very full poopies diapers 👏🏽 hope that helps. Also I did not add water to it I wanted her to get it all out cause it had been a few days since her last poop

Have you used a windi from Fridababy? It’s been so helpful to help my baby go! It’s the best for a gassy baby, we haven’t used any gripe water just the windi!

My babies pediatrician said an ounce of apple juice if he’ll take a bottle! My baby is breast fed as well. Gripe water didn’t help him and he wouldn’t take the apple juice even with it diluted. So I did bicycle with his legs OR don’t push hard but lightly push down on his belly in clockwise motion because they have a bowel right there. This helped my son alot ! He’ll be 3 months the 27

have you tried the leg exercises and belly rubs? they don't always help but the leg exercises usually help my babygirl! she's 3 months and 2 days
