Anyone have large age gap between siblings?

We have 2 boys, they will be 14 and almost 11 when suprise but will be loved baby number 3 arrives. So basically starting from babyhood when we were so close to the independent years. How have you coped with the age gaps? And how did your kids go with a new baby in the house?

Yes my eldest was 10 when my son was born, and she was 11 when her sister was born. Now she will be 18 when this one is born!! And the other two will be 8 and 9 nearly. People used to ask me if I was crazy when I had my second and my eldest was almost starting high school, I used to ask them are they crazy?? I’m going to have a little helper! And she was amazing. I could have a bath while she watched them, and as they got older she could help babysit but most of all the age gap is too much for them to fight and the bond she has with them is beautiful! She loves them as much as I do, but also hopefully put her off having babies young 😂❤️

Yes!! My son just turned 17 and my daughter will be 11 at the beginning of October! And this baby is due March 25! I hate that they are so far in age! I really wish I would have got pregnant with my third sooner so that my daughter could have had a close sibling. Although her and my son have a pretty good relationship despite a 6 year gap. Also I’ve never had kids close in age and I can only imagine how hard that is so maybe it’s better to have them spaced out! Either I’m blessed 😇

not me but the older the more help around, mom decided to have 3 one each year yikes😬.
my first born is 3yrs rn, when baby is due he's almost going to be 4. I prefer a bit of gap like I wouldn't handle one after another in a straight row.
