ADHD & discipline

How do you discipline your child with ADHD? What works for you? My boy is 2.5. he isn't diagnosed yet... We are on a wait-list, but we are certain he has at least ADHD.

I know part of it is just being a toddler, but some behavior is unacceptable (hitting, throwing things, etc).

We've tried different things. We know consistency is important... And my patience is running thin with that, but I keep telling myself he will get it eventually.

Side note: he *might* be in the spectrum. This is just a big question mark. If that changes your discipline perspective.
