Blows my mind 🤯

I seem to end up with men with zero common sense or comprehension for anything. One simple question or topic turns into him stressing me the F out. We just received our new baby’s car seat & extra base today. I got an extra base for his car so we can just switch the car seat back n forth depending on which vehicle we are using. He’s installing them tomorrow. A base for each car and the car seat. Noting that we only ordered 1 car seat. Here was the simple question I asked him that he just couldn’t comprehend 🤦🏻‍♀️

My question: “Which car are you going to put the CARSEAT in tomorrow?”

His reply: “Both”

Me: “No I’m asking which car is the car seat initially going in tomorrow??”

Him: There are 2 bases & I’m putting in each car”

Me: “I’m not talking about the bases, I’m only asking about the CARSEAT”

Him: “Both cars! It will be in both cars”

Me: 🤦🏻‍♀️ “you aren’t understanding my question at all”

Him: You aren’t understanding my answer”

Me: (O Lord help me) “No you aren’t giving me an answer & you aren’t understanding what I’m asking”

Him: “The car seat will go in both cars!”

Me: “I KNOW THE CARSEAT WILL GO BACK N FORTH BETWEEN BOTH CARS! I’m asking which car is it going into first!! It can only be one not both at the same time!”🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️

Him: “Then the CRV but it will go in both”

Me: “Ok the CRV! That’s all I asked for Christ’s sake! and once again I know it will go in both but that wasn’t what I was asking! (I’m about to cry out of frustration at this point) Yes I fully understand it will be switched back n forth between both our vehicles but I was just asking which one will it be in tomorrow!”

He then proceeds to talk about how we have 2 bases that will go in both cars. 🤦🏻‍♀️

This is real life ya’ll I can’t make this up & I’m about to lose it & just give up on any hope of him understanding this simple question. I’m almost 37 weeks pregnant. We are moving on Tuesday so the carseat needs to be installed & I was just asking a simple question that required a simple answer. This was just a small topic too, can you imagine what I go through on the bigger issues?? Pray for my sanity & his intelligence please.
