Getting pregnant after ectopic

I went through an ectopic pregnancy the end of June. And needed to have surgery where they removed a tube. (Still have both ovaries).

How long did it take anyone else who had an ectopic pregnancy to get pregnant again? It took me 9 months before. We have only just started trying again. And my period is due in 3 days taken a test and it’s negative. I can’t help but breakdown seeing that negative. Before my previous pregnancy whenever I saw a negative I was ok with it but seeing the negative this time has made me cry so hard. I really don’t want it to take another 9 months or longer to get my rainbow baby as I feel like any other months where it’s negative will continue to break my heart and I will cry everytime.
