Scared about pcos

I was diagnosed with PCOS at 18. I’m 21 now, turning 22 this year and my husband is 23. We’ve been together for over a year and originally we decided we would wait and want to start TTC in 2025, maybe late 2024. But I’m scared because I’ve been reading so many stories where it’s taken years for a couple to conceive so it’s making me want to start trying sooner in cause it does take some time because I don’t really want to be pregnant into my 30’s if possible. I don’t know if I should try to get him on the same page of trying sooner or wait like we originally planned and hope for the best? If you have fertility issues did it influence your decision on when to have kids/try sooner or did you just wait to cross that bridge when you got there?
