Can back to back pregnancies affect NIPT results?

Question

I had my NIPT done a little before I was 10 weeks. My OB thought I was further along than I actually was. I had my daughter late February and found out I was pregnant early May. Not the most ideal, but we’re rolling with it! I’m just curious if having the pregnancies so close together could affect the NIPT results. I don’t want to announce our results just in case, but still wondering🤷🏼‍♀️

Also it would be looking for a Y chromosome .. so since you had a girl, if it says you’re having another girl then there is no Y chromosome. If it says you’re having a boy, then it detected the Y chromosome which couldn’t possibly be from your last. So since you just had a daughter even if there was still fetal dna from that pregnancy, it wouldn’t affect the results you are getting now.

I had my son in March , found out I was pregnant mid august.. so I’ve been curious about this as well lol. from what I’ve read the dna from the previous pregnancy is gone by 2 months PP , so it should not effect your current results
