FTM contractions? Should I go in?

I’ve been having very sharp stabbing pains in like my butthole area (I don’t know any other way to describe it) since I got out of my Obgyn appt at 1:00. I had to run some errands after the appt and was pretty uncomfortable, I came home to try and lay down and still am having pains. I just started timing them out, do you think these are contractions? I just expected them to feel different than this so I’m not sure. They are coming in waves and are pretty intense.
