Early birth 38+3

This is our second baby and I’ve been in prodromal labor since Saturday. I was dilated 2cm, 75% effaced, and -1 station for 6 days. Yesterday there was no change so my husband and I went for a hike and had sex. I think this definitely helped because my contractions started a few hours later and I was in full blown labor by 3:45am. Arrived at the hospital at 5am dilated 4cm, got my epidural and antibiotics (group b positive) by 7:30am. I labored on my own for a while and let her come down instead of immediately starting to push. 4 pushes later and she arrived! I wish you all the best of luck moms!!
