What do your step kids call you?
Bf has a 2 year old and she called me mommy! What do I say/do?

Answer

I’d let her call you what she’s comfortable with. If you didn’t introduce yourself that way, but that’s what she is calling you - let her.
The only reason I wouldn’t is if your BF is uncomfortable with it.

It depends on the situation.
My stepkids' bio mom is in the picture and she doesn't like me, so out of respect for her I don't allow anything else than my name. 
If we would get along then perhaps there could be a conversation of what she feels comfortable with.
My youngest stepkid often called me mom,  and I always corrected it, I found it super flattering and I would tell them that though I appreciate, I really want to, and want him to,  respect their mom so I go by my name. That is complimentary with the message I always wanted to pass on that my presence is a bonus,  I am not here to replace and I support that they respect their both parents, Including their mom (which I realise sometimes can be an issue in blended families).

I went through this with foster kids over the years. I always let it be what they are comfortable with. It may stay mommy or it may change. I never commented on it or made it a big deal. I've been Jena, mom, mommy, mother, bro, mommy two, lady, ma'am, mo mo, plenty. It's all okay!

I don’t have step kids but my kids are my boyfriends step kids, I honestly don’t even call them his steps kids because my kids birth dad passed away. He raises them like his own and has treated them better than their birth dad ever did. So they call him daddy 🥰

It depends entirely on the situation. If the parents and yourself are okay with okay with it then I would let the child continue. I think it’s super flattering and sweet for her to feel that comfortable and safe to call you that x
