My husband is looking into getting a vasectomy he’s super nervous about it, any tips?

My husband got his vasectomy 4 weeks ago. It was really simple he got the no scaple method so there was a very small puncture that they went through to cut each side. He said the worst part was just the numbing injection but after that he had no pain and couldn't even feel any pulling. The vasectomy took about 10 mins the prep for it took longer than the actual procedure. The Urologist that he went through did not give him and prescription meds. Some urologists eill give a patient Valium to help with nerves for the procedure and prescription pain meds for afterwards. My husband really just needed some tylenol and advil off and on for a couple days. He had just a little pain for a couple days afterwards but it wasnt too bad because he was trying to have sex with me 36 hours after. He took it easy for a couple days and iced it on and off so he didn't even have any swelling. Bc it was non scaple he didn't have stitches and the wound was completely healed in like 3 or 4 days. His sex drive hasn't been affected at all and he doesn't feel any different! We are using condoms until he gets a semen sample tested in Novemeber to make sure it was 100% effective. My husband said he doesn't know why men get so nervous it wasn't bad at all and he is glad he did it instead of letting me get my tubes tied.
