Less movement close to labor???

I’m 38+3 weeks and babies movements have been getting less and less. I usually feel baby move a ton at night and I didn’t feel her at all, which is unusual.

I drank a big, cold glass of apple juice and maybe felt her move 2-3 times in an hour.

I have a Doppler at home and her HB has been around 120-140, so still pretty normal.

I have an appt this afternoon, so going to ask for an NST. Do you ladies think it’s normal for babies to sleep more/slow down before labor?!? I’m just so scared to lose her this late.
